In my practice I use the latest techniques without performing surgical procedures. I studied medicine at the AMC in Amsterdam. After that I worked for a long time in surgery at the Spaarne Hospital in Haarlem and the UMC St. Radboud Nijmegen.

I look at my patient in an overall picture of personality, appearance and lifestyle. Once this has been mapped, I and my patient will look at how we can influence this as positively as possible. The result must be fresh and natural; the goal is to keep the skin in optimum condition for as long as possible. I do not believe in smooth, emotionless faces, but in maintaining my own facial expression. This is precisely where the greatest challenge lies.
My work is comparable to that of a painting restorer: a painting must not change, but must remain in the right condition. The same applies to your skin.
